Documents for Business Tax Clients
In order for us to guarantee that your tax return will be completed by the due date, we must have all of your information to our office by the following dates:
- Partnership or S-Corporation: Wednesday, February 15 for completion by March 15, 2017
- C-Corporation: Friday, March 10 for completion by April 15, 2017
If we do not have your information by the above date, it is likely that your return will be extended.
For extended returns, we will need to receive all of your tax information by Friday, July 28 in order for your return to be completed before the extension deadline of September 15. If we do not receive all of your information by that time, an additional fee of $250 will be added to your invoice to account for the extra time needed to file a timely return on your behalf. This has become necessary due to an increasing number of returns coming in to the office with just a couple of weeks left in the filing season and the resulting overtime that goes along with that.
Keep in mind that all returns must be electronically filed and that we must receive payment for our services prior to filing your return.
Please be aware that there have been many changes in tax law over the last year, and it is likely we will need more detailed information from you than in years past in order for us to follow the new regulations implemented by the IRS. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this busy time!

We will not be able to begin working on your return until we receive each of these signed documents from you.
